ABOUT US
Founded by Alessia Podda - a naturopath and herbalist born in the Sardinian hinterland - Fauno Academy is the international digital extension of a decade-long instructional legacy.
In 2016, Alessia founded Istituto Fauno in Italy, filling a national training void in the field of animal naturopathy by establishing the country's first professional three-year vocational training course for practitioners.
Having shaped the Italian professional landscape, Alessia created Fauno Academy as an informational and learning platform dedicated to supporting holistic animal well-being. Operating as a global knowledge hub rather than a vocational training school, the Academy offers specialised masterclasses and deep-dive programmes designed both for professionals wishing to expand their skills and for attentive, conscious pet guardians.
Here, we share foundational approaches to veterinary phytotherapy, nutrition, and systemic remedies. We bring specific topics related to animal health into focus, rigorously analysing the major imbalance factors while providing students with solid theoretical foundations and practical, supportive tools.
The plants, medicinal mushrooms, and nutraceuticals proposed by our lecturers are always selected through criteria of maximum safety and precise application for the animal species treated.
